Recommended vaccination schedule for dogs
Primary vaccinations
From 8 weeks (Primary vaccination 1)
This is the first of three primary vaccinations and your dog normally
receives it from the breeder. The breeder vaccinates your dog against:
Parvovirosis (Canine Parvovirus P)
Distemper (C) = Distemper (D)
Rubarth's hepatitis (H) = Adenovirus (A)
Leptospirosis (L) (possible but the first vaccination can be postponed to 12 weeks of age)
Parainfluenza (Pi) and Bordetella bronchiseptica (Bb): the 2 complete valences of kennel cough
From 12 weeks (Primary vaccination 2)
This is the second of three primary vaccinations. This vaccinates your dog against:
Parvovirosis (Canine Parvovirus P)
Distemper (C) = Distemper (D)
Rubarth's Hepatitis (H) = Adenovirus (A)
Leptospirosis (L)
Parainfluenza (Pi) and Bordetella bronchiseptica (Bb): the 2 complete valences of kennel cough
Rabies (R) (primary vaccination from 12 weeks of age)
From 16 weeks (Primary vaccination 3)
This is the third of the three primary vaccines. It allows you to vaccinate your dog against:
Parvovirosis (Canine Parvovirus P)
Distemper (C) = Distemper (D)
Rubarth's Hepatitis (H) = Adenovirus (A)
Leptospirosis (L) (necessary if the first injection was not done at 8 weeks but at 12 weeks of age, optional if the puppy has already had an injection at 8 weeks and 12 weeks of age)
Parainfluenza (Pi) and Bordetella bronchiseptica (Bb): the 2 complete valences of kennel cough
Rabies (R) (primary vaccination from 12 weeks of age)
Age of the animal between 6 months and 1 year (Primary vaccination booster)

Hepatitis de Rubarth (H) = Adenovirus (A)
Leptospirosis (L)

Rabies (R) (depending on the brand and SPC of the vaccine used during the primary vaccination, the booster may require an injection given 1 year maximum after the primary vaccination)
Annual vaccinations
Once your dog has received all the primary vaccines up to the age of one year, the following provisions apply.
Annual boosters
Leptospirosis (L) (NB depending on the exposure of the dogs, the Leptospirosis valence may even be recommended every 6 months (e.g. hunting dogs, pond areas, known areas with the presence of rats and/or presence of the leptospirosis disease)
Parainfluenza (Pi) and Bordetella bronchiseptica (Bb): the 2 complete valences of kennel cough
Rabies (R) (depending on the brand and SPC of the vaccine used during the last injection, the next one may require an injection carried out 1 year maximum later)
Boosters every 2 to 3 years
Parvovirosis (Canine Parvovirus P)
Distemper disease (C)
Rubarth's hepatitis (H) = Adenovirus (A)
Rabies (R) (depending on the brand and SPC of the vaccine used during the last injection, the next one may require an injection carried out 2 years or 3 years maximum later)
